Putin: Russia needs to design new oil, gas pipes from Siberia

MOSCOW, Apr 14 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has to envisage construction of oil and gas pipelines from the fields of Western and Eastern Siberia, President Vladimir Putin told uring a government meeting on Thursday.

“We should also encompass construction of new oil and gas pipelines from the fields of Western and Eastern Siberia. This is exactly what we’ve just talked about while concluding our meeting,” he said.

The government is to draft an energy development plan until 2050 by June 1 and approve it by  September 15, Putin said.
